Unmissable visit to the superbly preserved old medieval centre. You can stroll through the alleys and small squares, visit the Saturday morning market or enjoy the various summer activities. The guided tour is very interesting. Sarlat is also nicely lit after dark (20 mins away)
Our little town and its medieval heart. Do not hesitate to park around the perimeter and climb through the alleys to the church and its keep where you will have a very beautiful view of the region (360°). You can also choose one of the walks offered in the historic center. (7 mins away)
About ten kilometers from Sarlat, this bastide perched on a cliff at an altitude of 210 meters has a magnificent view of the Dordogne. Many tourist shops and a nice walk around the village. (25 min)
At the foot of the cliffs, follow the paths that lead you above the village with this view of the Dordogne below. Surprising exotic garden with its palm trees, banana trees thanks to its micro climate. Departure of cruise in barge. (30 mins)
Between the Dordogne and its immense rocky promontory; you will discover a whole village typical of the Middle Ages, its uneven streets will lead you to its castle at the top. (35 mins)
From our cottage, located opposite the previous villages, this medieval and religious city with its 8 chapels carved into the rock and its 216 steps will impress you with its character. You are in the heart of the Causses du Quercy with its landscapes very different from those of the Périgord Noir (35 min away)
Further south, this site is worth the trip for its authenticity, the number of its craftsmen and the continued preservation of its houses. It is one of the favorite villages of the French. (1 hour)
It is the city with 25 fortified towers, entirely built with this very special red stone. Another place that will not leave you indifferent. Entirely pedestrian village (1 hour)
